COMMENT ON DATA PROTECTION IN INDIA

Considering the manner in which public data are being stored and used by both the state and private entities,a comprehensive data protection act is the need of the hour.Comment.

In todays world Data Protection is most of the important work for our government.If our Data is not protected ,then it is the violation of RIGHT TO PRIVACY.
There are so many data in our mobile phone that are very important to be protected by ourselves.We sometimes are unable to protect our data because there are not so many technologies in our country to protect it .when we search for anything on the internet and again search for any other thing then we see some data are displayed related to previous search .
On other example is,when a student passes his Intermediate ,then a number of text messages comes on his mobile phone related to the Graduation college.How is it possible,it is only possible because of the stealing of data of the student.
In the field of data protection ,there is a black market in which data are stolen and sold to the other Companies and Colleges.
Thus,it becomes the duty of our government to find those black marketers and put then in Prison.
In other countries like USA,UK,Russia etc.there is a Data Protection law.so their data is protected.Our government must think about the serious problem of data protection so that our data should be protected.

The Citizenship (Amehe Citizenship (Amendment) Bill or CAB, which grants Indian citizenship to the non-Muslims of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, was passed by the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill will now go to the President for his assent. As many as 125 lawmakers voted in the favour of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill and 99 against it. The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill voting in Rajya Sabha was taken up after six hours of debate on the legislation. Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu had allotted the six-hour time to the MPs to discuss the Indian citizenship bill. Besides the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), the CAB was supported by JD(U), SAD, AIADMK, BJD, TDP and YSR-Congress. The Shiv Sena did not participate in the voting. The citizenship bill was on Monday passed by the Lok Sabha with a majority of 311 votes against 80.
